Snow Day

What a way to start the week! SNOW DAY! We don't seem to get them often but when we do I enjoy the day.
Here is a picture of Bristol messing up the new snow. She loves running and playing in it.


She runs around like she is crazy! So much fun to watch. The other two don't want anything to do with it. They are fair weather yorkies!
So now I plan to spend the day scrapbooking as it is too deep for me to get out of the driveway!

I really didn't fly away!

I can't believe I haven't posted since the beginning of January! I just think sometimes life just takes over. I have been busy with scrapbooking, work, and all the new tv that came back after the holidays!
Longaberger is picking up again. I love selling it and buying it. I have made so many good friends from this business. My 3 best friends. We have been going out to dinner alot and then to the movies on top of it! I love it as Ron is not a movie fan and they are! We went to see New in Town last week and laughed our butts off! It was hilarious.
Here is a picture of us for my 51st birthday celebration! We ate at Chili's and had margaritas.

The Week Flew!

It has been a few days since I got here! I don't know where the week has gone. Yesterday we had ice to welcome the day. Here is a picture I took in the morning before work and then I took one in the evening while the sun was starting to come out. I love ice on the trees.




Aren't they beautiful? It never got icy on the roads, so we had school.
Then I took this the other day of Bill. He is my helper with all chores. He loves to sit by the sink when I wash dishes and just watch. He is so sweet!


According to the weather this afternoon, we might get some real snow. All I can say is it is about time! Next week our 4th grade class is going to the Pennsylvania Farm Show. It always promises to be a cold and possibly snowy week. I hope the snow doesn't come the day we are supposed to go as we can't reschedule it. I'm excited. Every year they have a butter sculpture for viewing and this year it is supposed to be a 900 lb. sculpture. I will take pictures to share with you.
Barring no problems Brian should graduate on the 20th of January. His speech grade isn't too good, so keep your fingers crossed he can get it up! Then he will work for the next 6 months before he leaves for boot camp June 8th. 6 months from today he will ship out. Oh how I am not ready for him to leave the nest! I thought I was, but I really am not.

Day Four and Five

Well I have managed to get my first layout done for the 365 project challenge. And I have been taking pictures for it too. Here is the layout for the first week

This one is for my first day back to school. My little lunch bag! Longaberger of course!
It was good to be back at work. I love my job.
We are supposed to get ice from tomorrow afternoon thru Wednesday afternoon. I'm guessing there will be a delay for Wednesday. I wish we would get snow instead.

Real TV is back!

I am so happy to have normal tv back. That is the one thing over the holidays I don't enjoy. Looking forward to all my shows coming on this Sunday. Here is what I was so excited about today!

General Hospital was back on and it wasn't a repeat! ABC was showing so many repeats over the holidays. So I could watch All My Children, One Live to Live and GH. I did take a nap though during OLTL! I woke up this morning at 4 to take the dogs out and then couldn't go back to sleep. So I was tired to say the least!
I made pork chops for dinner last nite. I didn't have a roast so it was fried chops. Ron was happy. Today I made chicken pot pie, Brian's favorite. I also made peanut butter cookies, which I love! RC is in NYC for the day. Him and Brittany went up to see the tree before it is gone. I'm sure they are freezing by now!
I did get one page scrapped last nite. It was from Epcot in June. England to be exact. Here is a picture of it.

New Year New Blog

I decided that I would start a new blog on the New Year. I don't have the time to keep changing graphics and such, so it won't be all fancy. Just me, like the title. I have missed blogging, but realized that the break was good for me.
